JMA Consultants Inc. (JMAC) was founded in 1942 as the Japan Management Association (JMA), a non-profit organization as a government support structure aimed at the promotion of managerial efficiency in Japanese industry. 

JMAC is Japan’s oldest, and remains one of its largest management consulting firms, with just over 200 management consulting professionals in Japan alone. For almost 70 years, JMAC has been a pioneer in the development of new management techniques . From our beginnings in operational quality and productivity consulting, we have expanded to meet the needs of clients in Japan and overseas and now provide a full range of Management Consulting services, from Strategy creation to R&D Innovation to Supply Chain management. Throughout our long history, we have maintained our focus of maximizing our client partners’ core competencies. While still a member of the JMA, JMAC incorporated in 1982.
